Navy Federal Credit Union - Web Bill pay (online site) is deceiving
I have been paying bills online with web bill pay for close to 10 years.In recent years something has changed, Web Bill pay says 'paid' when the payment hasn't been received by the payee.
This has caused this member to lose $29 for every time I read 'paid' and the bill has not been paid. I have had payments made through web bill pay on the Navy Fed website take 10+ days to get to the payee. This also makes the payment late to the payee as well, incurring late charges.
I set the date that I needed the bill to be paid on web bill pay but evidently I have very little control over when my payment is actually received.
